These beauties are two of the most adventurous beings I know! I knew I wanted to meet Chantalle and Bruno in the Columbia River Gorge for their fall photo session because it’s an incredibly beautiful and quiet area, so Bruno can run around safely without anyone else at all being around. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel such main character energy as you walk out into the expansive landscape, surrounded by glorious golden trees, rolling mountains, and the flowing river. He and Chantalle have a really amazing connection, which is just the most meaningful and fun thing for me to get to document. We explored the stunning fields together while Bruno found every stick within 2 miles and paraded them all around, proud as can be of his marvelous treasures. His grande finale with the biggest stick ever- a 7 foot long branch that I swear existed for Bruno’s delight alone, had us dying laughing and is so imprinted on my mind for all those great laughs. And speaking of imprints- I received one of the most amazing honors I could ever get, which is that Chantalle used the last photo in this post here to be the basis of a tattoo of Bruno’s handsome face, permanently gazing up adoringly at her from her arm. How cool is that?!
