Mia | Columbia River Gorge Dog Photos in the Snow

It doesn’t snow very often in the Columbia Gorge, so it was a magical opportunity last week to get to photograph this stunning Newfoundland named Mia in one of my favorite places. Mia has such an awesomely expressive personality, a highly boopable nose, and of course she loved the snow immensely. She was basically made to frolick around in it! We had the best time ever, to say the least!

While the snow there doesn’t usually last long, we are still somewhat early in the season, so if you have a hankering for an amazing adventure with your dog in the Portland area, I have 4WD and a big love of photographing happy dogs in snow! Sessions are available in the Gorge (if there is actually snow, of course!), and Mt. Hood has snow for a few more months. Get in touch! 🙂
